By the end of each episode, they're not really that terror-filled. Wig or no wig, though, Buster fills up his occupation for today by introducing the three terror-filled stories featured. Maybe I just didn't understand this parody back in 1995. First time I saw this, I didn't understand why he felt the need to wear that stupid black feminine wig. The supporting segments feature Buster Bunny, the "Tiny Toons" equivalent of Bugs, dressed as the Cryptkeeper.
And here's my review of it.Īs the episode's title suggests, it's a parody of HBO's "Tales From the Crypt", and since this is "Tiny Toon Adventures", it's three stories framed by three supporting segments. I don't recall if the episode ever aired during the rerun rotations on Kids WB! or Cartoon Network, but if it did, surely the viewers would've noticed.
Fortunately, when the series ran its reruns on Nickelodeon, the episode showed up, although I doubt the people organizing the online episode guides noticed. The closest the episode came to being seen in the show's original run was including the first segment on an episode of the obscure "Plucky Duck Show" spin-off series. So in other words, it's the lost episode of "Tiny Toons". In case you're wondering, I picked this one out because it was so scary, the FOX syndicates chose not to air it. Today, we look at the "Tiny Toon Adventures" episode "Toons From the Crypt". characters in this advent calendar, I assure you. And it won't be the last appearance of Warner Bros. But fortunately, you're gonna see a bit more Warner properties in this review. Except, of course, for the two "¡Mucha Lucha!" episodes I reviewed back at the beginning.
